Handmade Heart was started up as a birthday gift that was given to me, I had always wanted to learn how to silkscreen and as a present my aunt and uncle gave me a professional silkscreening kit. After trial and error, it blossomed to much more in my parent's garage, which then led to opportunities to sell my hand silkscreened items at local shows. So far handmade heart is growing more successful, with new designs coming out almost every season.

Working in the Garage

I purchase my silkscreen material from Blick Art and Silkscreen Supplies. I use a 500 wat exposure light and oil based inks including white, black, blue and red. I use 3-D squeegees for tools and make the screens myself.

Selling Shirts at a Show

Please do not ask me about how I learned to silkscreen or how the process is done, if you would like to research silkscreening, google or craftster it.
